Balatre

Une scène bien servie par la pose longue.
Il est vrai que les éclairages modernes à bases de LED sont meilleurs pour l'écologie et les économies d'énergie, mais ils font perdre le charme des éclairages d'autrefois qui étaient plus chaleureux. Les décorations de Noël en sont les premières perdantes.

This is very nice! And if there's any detail in the bright lights that is blown out, it doesn't show it very much. Something that Photoshop CS2 could fix if you're not satisfied with it. I think it's fine like it is, however.

Die Lichtverhältnisse waren tatsächlich die größte Herausforderung. Die Extreme zwischen Hell (dieses Lampengefunzel) und Dunkel (die eigentlichen Motive) waren echt krass.
Einen Versuch (mit Deinem Stativ) hatte ich auch. Bin aber mit dem Resultat sehr unzufrieden ...

Thanks a lot, George! The window boxes with red geraniums were all over town, cared for by the house owners. At the council hall I guess the employees water them. Geraniums are not expensive and can be propagated from cuttings. The wild wine is a climber which only needs to be cut back once in a while.

The colours and detail in the image are just lovely Gudrun, especially viewed large.

I'm not sure there is too much to worry about with the light from the street lamps - it certainly doesn't detract from the image! I did some low-light stuff recently and had the same problem.

Die sollten ihre Rathaus- und Straßenbeleuchtng energetisch sanieren. Die LEDs sparen nicht nur Energie, sondern sie sind mit dem gesamten Farbspektrum auch viel fotografenfreundlicher. Zumindest mit dem Kirchturm wurde schon mit aktueller Energiespar-Beleuchtung angefangen. Trotz der widrigen Verhältnisse ein tolles Bild.

Schönen Dank, Leo! Was denkst du, was wir über diese Beleuchtung gelästert haben! Diese Lichter am Dach sahen bei völliger Dunkelheit komplett bescheuert aus, weil da ein schwarzes Loch entstand. Und das Rosa... naja;-)
