Trolltindane

Trolltindane
Raftsund after sunset looking towards Svartsund and Trolltindane. The entrance to Trollfjord (see inset photo) is hidden behind Svartsund. Most ships aren't allowed to go through narrow Svartsund and have to detour round the island of Ulvøya to reach Trollfjord.

Thanks a lot, George! In Svartsund ships have run aground, that's why they detour. But Trollfjord is regularly visited in summer- the reason it's not allowed in winter are avalanches from the steep mountains.
