Dundas Street was named for Henry Dundas, 1st Viscount Melville, secretary of state for war and first lord of the Admiralty under William Pitt the younger. I haven't found any connection between Charles and Henry Dundas. As you may know, many Edinburghers want Henry's statue there removed. In Toronto many people want the street renamed. The chief issue is his role in delaying the abolition of the slave trade.

In 2016 BBC Radio, responding to Sadiq Khan's claim that London was the most diverse city in the world, did some research and declared Toronto the most diverse instead:

And Toronto is very busy. Everybody's got something to do and they want to do it right now.
