I like the full-screen view: type Z then click the frame at top right. Your preference may vary.

I've been lugging that stuff around a bit. Re-mulching is almost an annual ritual, and an "expert" told us we should have a six foor wide circle of it around our trees to keep the lawn service from stripping bark with a weed-whacker. It IS interesting to see the patterns that the bags make, at that.

Thanks, Bob. There's a stump in front of my building with about a six-foot-wide circle around it -- maybe you should go a bit bigger, eh? A sapling at the side of the building has also disappeared, I wonder if a weed whacker was involved, as they say. They're a scourge.

no name natural cedar mulch - comes close to a tongue twister ...
The bright yellow is great and so are the sweat pearls of filling.
Nevertheless, I not like nor use that stuff, it only attracks funghi and sours the ground ...

I won't have it in my apartment, Leon.

people here will get a dump truck full of the stuff dumped on the road at their curb, then they spend days shoveling it around their yard. i think i'd prefer a few bags.

nice abstraction of a lot of hard work!

Don't worry Gudrun, it'll go back to nature as very, very small particles - you won't see them anymore ... unless you open any sea creature. :-/

That struck me, too, Gudrun. To the best of my knowledge. canvas is still around.

Sadly only too true....

Indeed! But probably it's more expensive, less easy to handle.... As long as the use of plastic is not made very expensive it will be used.

And it's probably made from by products of fossil fuel production that would otherwise be spewed into the air. Life is so complicated.
