Nicely framed by the tree. There is that slight tension as the sun engages with the mist for dominance. The diagonal leading line is very effective in creating interest as far as the horizon. The distant trees are possibly the most vital component. To my eye they are the reason for the picture. Also, I love the darkness at the bottom which pushes your eyes up to the horizon. Quite lovely in every way.

Ah, but that is one fine picture, Rachel. Seen big and on black it is one hell of a thing. I'd have it on my wall in a heartbeat. TLC above has said everything meaningful there is to say.

Great impact for such a shape shifting, ghostly image. The looming, invasive tendrils of the foreground tree are the element that make this picture, for me.
