The setting sun sending fat shafts of bright light through the kitchen window illuminating the semi-saintly stainless steel teapot and kettle as they bask in the success of their day's work.
Photographed with an old screw-thread Cosina Cosinon 135mm f/2.8 lens on a Fuji X-E1. The lens was £10 on eBay. Something to celebrate every time I use it.

Only semi-saintly? Were I a teapot I think I might be slightly offended. Such basking is richly deserved by any teapot since their work enhances our every day. Rather a nice picture, TLC.

Thank you, Old Owl. Sainthood is reserved for when miracles are demonstrably performed and verified. When I find the teapot is full of piping hot tea without my first having inserted a teabag and poured on boiling water, the process of canonization can begin.
