Thank you very much. I cut off the tab on the aperture ring of the Fujinon so that I could use it at all apertures on a Canon EOS digital SLR camera. It was plastic, not metal as I had supposed, and easily removable with a craft knife. I can't recall what aperture I used for this photograph, but it is definitely closed down a bit, and provides surprising clarity considering its humble specification.
