A wonderful, inventive crop and treatment.
What is a “bleach bypass” and who is the bewitching (I like that word!) Doris?

Thank you, Steve. The bleach bypass is one of a suite of features in the Lightroom photo processing software which I think is designed to reproduce the result you could achieve in an old-fashioned darkroom with chemicals (or presumably without a particular chemical in this instance). Maybe more knowledgeable heads than mine will add more detail. I think Doris came to me in a bunch of old family photographs which frustratingly I cannot now find. All I have is a digital image with a semi-transparent and scratched plastic set square superimposed. If it is an image of Doris, I regret to tell you that her bewitching days are over. She has passed away.
