Thanks, Bob. I look back to the days when I used film, before digital technology. 400 ISO; very occasionally, 1600, despite the dreadful grain. Decent enough cameras and lenses, but this was before eBay and choice was confined to the camera stores near your home, all of which charged top dollar. And it coincided with a period in my life when I never had much spare cash anyway. If only I had the technology and the equipment then that I have now: the family albums would be so exciting instead of comprising out-of-focus, improperly-exposed, uncropped, crooked, and generally uninspiring photographs with a bad colour cast and an association of disappointment.
