Gray - Notre Dame

Gray - Notre Dame
The basilica was built between 1481 and 1560, following the sack of the town by French troops of Charles I d'Amboise and the fires of 1477 and 1479. It is an example of late Gothic architecture.

The tympanum depicts the coronation of the Virgin. An icon that was very popular during "Gothic" times.
