Marillac-le-Franc - Saint-Didier

Marillac-le-Franc - Saint-Didier
When Saint-Didier was erected in the 12th century, it replaced a church, that was only a century old. The "new" single nave church was built on a Latin Cross plan and - from outside looks rather plain. There may have been once a triangular gable, that got lost.

The belltower got fortified later during unsure times, the transept arms got rebuilt end of the 19th century.
