It only needs a spectral figure glimpsed at a window to be complete…

An interesting looking piece of architecture Peter.................built in Tudor times I'm guessing, but still looking good.

Very nicely captured - the black and white tones are lovely,

Do you develop the film yourself?

It's Baddesley Clinton a NT property West Midlands I've not tried developing I have thought about it but for the occasional film it's probably cheaper to have it done plus a lab will have the used chemicals dealt with properly. I've never taken many B&W photos many years ago I took a few on a folding Kodak camera 2.25 square then got a 35mm Mamiya and went to colour slide film, it's the old look that I like from the time when a photo was something special

When I was in the RN I made friends with a Naval Photographer, who used to give me black and white film to try and also showed me how to develop it. I had an Olympus OM10 and a 50mm lens (which I still have, but never use). I have a large envelope of black and white photos I took, which I would be embarrassed to show anyone :-))). When I left that particular posting I didn't take another photo until a couple of years after I retired from the RN in 1998. My first digital camera was a Nikon D80 I think.

A beautifully preserved manor house, very well captured from a delightful point of view,
the monochromatic film fits the building perfectly Peter
