I'm always on the sunny side Peter ;-) The apples look good. Are they in your garden? Mine are looking very good this year and I had the most figs ever! HFF and wish you a good weekend.

The fruits are quince the ornamental one japonica, I have quite a good crop of apples but I must put a grease band on the tree and get pheromone trap for next year a lot have been attacked :((( Lucky you with the figs I did try one some years ago but it died and I didn't try another, I take it you only get one crop a year. Yes just one crop a year Peter. It's an 18 year old tree and this has been the best crop.

Lovely corner of your garden, Peter! Not only the bird-planted sunflower and colorful hydrangeas, but also a wonderful "wreath" of ripening apples along the fence!

The fruit is quince the ornamental one japonica not the pear shaped one you would see, they are are edible not much you can do with them except make quince jelly I have made it a couple of times. In the past people used to put them in a bowl for their scent. I hope you have a nice Saturday Annalia

Still a harvest and life left in your garden Peter, Out hydrangea has finished flowering and the small apple tree we had blew over last year. Still have some sunflowers though. A good new week for you.
Plenty Panasonics 100-400 on eBay but I am still waiting for the new year.
