gdn - clump of Bellis perennis [daisy]

Bellis perennis : clump of flowering daisy plants growing in grass. The English common name is a development of 'Day's Eye' which probably references the flowers closing at night, or in very dull weather.
Considered a weed by lawn experts, most children like them as the flowers are easy to chain together.
