bri / gbw - Wasdale bridge
The bridge over Wasdale beck, just before it empties into Wastwater via a deposition delta.
The beck banks have been walled in to prevent spate conditions undermining the bridge, and the bridge itself has been repointed to protect it, originally, I think the "wing walls" were likely to have been built without mortar.
