A somewhat shorter than usual flower spike of Rosebay Willowherb as it can grow up to 8ft in height, also commonly known as fireweed, as it readily colonises areas which have been burnt or recently disturbed. Chamerion angustifolium is quite attractive to bees, flowering in late summer.
