Lovely light over Leicester 19th August 2022
The heatwave has broken but the weather is still good here in the East Midlands.

Today is World Photography Day & this is my early morning contribution.

Christa's comment about "Morning has broken" was spot on. It was 06.30 when I woke up and looked out the window. That light just cried out to be photographed. So before showering or dressing the camera came out! The leaded window panels were included because rather than just having a scenic view I wanted to capture the impression that I'm looking out of the bedroom on the new day. I liked the way they also framed individual elements, the clouds at the top in particular.

That's lovely. I like it when the light calls out to us. I totally understand doing camera first, then starting your morning routine. When the light is there nothing else matters *smile*.
