I'm glad this was preserved, however I have more affinity with 61264 or the real Mayflower 61379, as I saw them both regularly in BR days. The first time I saw this loco was at Carnforth after withdrawal, and I think I read somewhere, that you did too?
Loose_Grip/Pete club has replied to PolyrusI had a chance to fire 61264 a few years back at the GCR so I have that affinity too. I saw B1s working back in BR days but don't remember numbers except for 61306 which, as you said, I saw at Carnforth in June 1968. Nice to see it on the main line again.
