Tante Ju
Last weekend Dresden’s airport celebrated its 80th anniversary. And as the first plane took off a Ju 52 in 1935.
The plane on my photo is the Lufthansa Junkers Ju 52/3m (registered D-CDLH), until 1984, known as „Iron Annie N52JU“, painted as D-AQUI in historic 1936 Deutsche Lufthansa colors. D-CDLH has P&W engines, now with three-bladed propellers.
