... a nice shot, the red blossoms add a repetitive component ... and while faster shutter speeds are needed to "freeze" those supersonic wings, blurring them gives a feeling of motion ...

... they don't seem to like each other very much; Ronald Losure chided me for calling them "territorial", so maybe they are just little sociopaths ...

They are very territorial ! I get about 15 here in Summer with a mix of males and females and the offspring. I call them My Little Squeaking Brats !
