terribel fires in your country!!! I hope, you stay well and your town is not affected by them!

My town is only effected by the smoke. The air here goes from 'not healthly' to 'hazardous' so that's realy bad, but we are staying in and taking all the precautions we can. We also have a shift in weather on its way, so we should see relief from smoke and fires in a few days. Crossing fingers!

it was freaky and very sad (but in the moment i didn't know how bad it was going to get - and thought it was bizarre and beautiful in a photograph anyway).

I took the photo before I knew the intensity of the situation. I only knew that it felt intense.

It felt like the world was changing (and in a way it really did) - so the minimalistic quality was intentional. Soemtimes I like that, though usually I'm much more into rich details.
