the shadow is a fern (both on the right and on the left)! but the object on the left is the edge of a bowl, the blue on the right the interior of the bowl. it has just been outside for so long that the bowl is taking on plant like characteristics - especially up close.

thank you. it actually isn't a plant on the left, but the edge of a large bowl that has been outside so long that it has taken on plant like features. the blue is the inside of the bowl. fern shadows on the left and right.

great interpretation! but no. it's the edge of a bowl that lives outside on my front deck. it's been outside so long that it has taken on living characteristics. fern shadows and blue inside of the bowl.
