Sun-bathed beauty

Little white flowers

I'm sure I should know what this plant is - it had clusters of these white/offwhite flowers all over the plant. Seen at the Reader Rock Garden. Thanks to George (Dixon) for the ID - Phlox paniculata!

A little worse for wear

A little droopy, I suspect, but still pretty. Is this a Rudbeckia? It was growing at the Reader Rock Garden towards the end of September.

Crocus

These beautifully delicate flowers are called Crocus, but I believe they are not true crocuses. Seemed so strange to see them in bloom amongst the fall leaves. Such a pretty colour.

Scabius & bee

I always like to see Scabius flowers - so crinkly and detailed. This one was growing at the Reader Rock Garden recently.

Female Larch flower

Seen at the Reader Rock Garden, Calgary. This is the female flower of the Siberian Larch tree - looks more like a cone than a flower.
