Looking almost unreal
A while ago, I posted a similar photo to this one of these beautiful Straw Flowers. I remember that, at the time, I couldn't decide which I liked better, this one or the closer crop. Decided to post this one as well, after all. Maybe I just needed the splash of vibrant orange on yet another dreary, snowy day! It's beginning to feel as though it snows every single day - and it's not a good feeling. Only about four more months of this before Spring hopefully arrives. Taken on 14 August 2013, at the Reader Rock Garden.

They do look artificial ... but it is the makeup of this flower ... well taken and excellent colours and details too ... well done!!
