Mt. Davidson Cross Disappearing into the Fog
As you near the top of Mt. Davidson, you begin to see glimpses of a huge monument on top. The trees and undergrowth are so thick that you can only see bits of something but nothing distinct. At last, the top of the trail brings you to this amazing vantage-point, where you can finally see the entire cross! Doesn't it appear to be fairly small? Do not be fooled! I am very far away at this point, and the trees you see near it that seem so short actually tower above anyone standing underneath! This cross stands 103 feet tall! If you would like to know more about this cross, this Wikpedia page will tell you everything you want to know! en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mount_Davidson_%28California%29
