Clayfolk Show! This is Penelope Dews: Gorgeous Duck
This is Day 14 of 14 of my Clayfolk Art Show exhibit! I started with Lorene Senesac, Rhonda Hampton, Steve Kirkland, Bruce Finch, Vera Rogers, Jan Lacy, Cheryl Kempner, CJ June, Shirley Usher, Debra & Larry Nelson, Nina Fernstrom-Duong, Tea ThanhBinh Duong and Julia Abbott Janeway!
The last of the Clayfolk artists I'll be featuring is Penelope Dews! She's not only a talented artist amd instructor, she's also the vice-president of Clayfolk! :) Penelope has a radiant personality and a total passion for the pieces she creates. I love the way she sees the world through her artwork. Her sculptures glow with her passion and obvious love for animals and nature. The painted glazework on her pottery is spectacular, colorful, detailed and nearly irresistable to touch. I would love to see everything she's made!
I found a very nice website with a write-up about Penelope that you might like to read, and it has some more pictures of her artwork too! www.illahegallery.com/artists/dews/
Apologies for the flood: there are 12 pictures here, but you'll enjoy every one, as Penelope's craftsmanship should be seen and appreciated!
If you would like to contact Penelope, you can reach her by phone or email:
