Family Portrait, All Grown Up!
[best appreciated at full size against black]
A few weeks ago, I posted a picture of a family of mushrooms that I found on my front stairs. The past couple of days I've shown you two more mushrooms that didn't want to be in the portrait, and today, I'd like to show you the family of mushrooms when they were all grown up!
In the first photo, I identified mom and dad mushroom in the middle, with the youngest child on the left and the other child on the right. Now the shy little one on the left is taller than mom, and slender like all fast-growing kids! Mom nuzzles him fondly while her son seems to be saying, "Aww, Mom, cut it out!!" On the right, Dad and his grown up but still short daughter lean together for a hug! Everyone, SAY CHEESE!!! :D
