The Merry Jesters
[best appreciated at full size against black]
Here is another dried up weed that demanded to have its picture taken. I had just climbed to the top of our hill and stopped to pause and get my breath back. Right in front of me, the sun was shining on seed pods and I had them framed in my camera's viewfinder in a quick hurry! When I saw the image on my computer, I was surprised at the resemblance to a jester's frilly hat!
This image was taken in January, 2012.
