20/365: "There is no better high than discovery." ~ E. O. Wilson
As I walked over our moss-covered rocks this morning, I noticed a very tiny mushroom covered with frost standing alone in the cold. Bending down to take a closer look, I smiled and said hello!

Edward Osborne "E. O." Wilson (born June 10, 1929) is an American biologist, researcher (sociobiology, biodiversity), theorist (consilience, biophilia), naturalist (conservationist) and author. His biological specialty is myrmecology, the study of ants, on which he is considered to be the world's leading authority. Wikipedia: E.O. Wilson

Ha, this is such a great idea for a photo, Janet! It makes that fungus look so tiny, which I'm sure it was.
