38/365: "Nature will bear the closest inspection. She invites us to lay our eye level with her smallest leaf, and take an insect view of its plain." ~ Henry David Thoreau
It rained last night but when I looked out, the sun was shining and suddenly I couldn't wait to get out there and find my picture!
I saw that there were tiny droplets all over the grass, and taking a nose-close look, the magical scene was right there! These droplets are merely a glint, the grass blades extremely small, it just amazes me the world one can see through a macro lens! Incredible!
Henry David Thoreau (July 12, 1817 – May 6, 1862) was an American author, poet, philosopher, abolitionist, naturalist, tax resister, development critic, surveyor, historian, and leading transcendentalist. He is best known for his book Walden, a reflection upon simple living in natural surroundings, and his essay Civil Disobedience, an argument for individual resistance to civil government in moral opposition to an unjust state.
