Marmot
Probably the yellow-bellied marmot, Marmota flaviventris. One of a large group of marmots living in the park and picnic area immediately below Grand Coulee Dam, Washington state, USA. You get the feeling they may have gotten used to handouts ;) From this face-on view it's easy to see how they're just big ground squirrels.
