A Lost Sheep !

We heard that a sheepherder was found dead, of a heart attack as I recall, so his flock had been effectively abandoned for a while. Presumably this one was missed in the later round-up. They still run sheep on the public lands in the Virginia Range, above our house to the east.

That is sad... its a lonely life

It's amazing that a few people are still leading that life in the US in the early 21st century.
