Uploaded for the Vintage Photos Theme Park theme of "Photographing the photographer". Given to me by the woman who collects all our leftover library book sale books and then re-sells them. She found it in one of her books and remembered that I collected old photos.
I'm guessing late 1960s for the photo of this unknown woman - her shoulder bag influencing my guess. I might have guessed earlier 60s if not for that. The cars might be a further clue for someone, or the (billboard, marquee ?) in the background with "Silverman" on it. (I think that's what's written.)

Aschi "Freestone", Smiley Derleth have particularly liked this photo

It is a wonderful slice of time, isn't it? Very evocative.

I agree with your dating of the photo, Deborah, based on the bit of the auto I can see. She looks like a serious photographer.

Nice. A shame she wasn't identified. As RicksPics suggests, she looks like a serious photographer. That's no box camera she's carrying.

Thank you, Rick and Bob. I'm not familiar enough with cameras to know how good of a camera she's carrying, but there was still something about her that made me wonder whether she was a professional.
