All dressed up in the meadow

All dressed up in the meadow
Uploaded for the Vintage Photos Theme Park theme of "Photo with decorative border or frame".
This is not an uncommon frame - I think it was most popular during the 1930s - but I couldn't seem to find any other examples, without looking harder than my laziness allowed. ; )
I'll probably kick myself in a few weeks when I find a perfect example of the theme buried somewhere in my uncatalogued piles.

kiiti, Christina Sonnenschein, Alan Mays, Smiley Derleth have particularly liked this photo

I always wonder whether all-dressed-up photos like this were taken on a Sunday right after or before church (sometimes they're Easter Sunday photos, too). I associate decorative borders like this with the Art Deco style of the 1920s and 1930s, but I'm not sure that's correct. (And I frequently seem to find a better example of a theme after the fact, too.)

Yes, I bet many of them were Sunday church snaps or Easter ones.
This one, though, is later in the year than Easter given the Queen Anne's Lace in the background, which is a late summer flower - at least in Vermont! : )
And Alan - it's hard to believe you find better examples later, as I'm always amazed at the incredible examples you always seem to have!
