Two Little Sailor Boys

Two Little Sailor Boys
These two cuties are uploaded for the Vintage Photos Theme Park theme of "Sailor Suits".
I can't quite figure out the background. Is that a tram or train station - with possibly a train going by? Does that explain the low roofed buildings? Curious to hear your thoughts, friends.
I found this a few months ago in Burlington, Vermont.

Cute pick. My guess is that this photo was taken in a back yard and the low buildings are garages built adjacent to a back alley.
