Minna Peschka-Leutner, born Minna von Leutner (1839-1890); Austrian soprano.
She made her debut in 1856 at the “Stadttheater Breslau” as Agathe in Weber’s “Der Freischütz”. In the years to follow she was associated with the German operahouses in Dessau, Darmstadt, Leipzig,Dresden, Hamburg and Köln. She made several successful guest appearances in America (New-York, Chicago, Boston), England (London) and The Netherlands (Rotterdam). Her best performances were Queen of the Night in “Der Zauberflöte”, Leonora in “Il Trovatore”, Lucia in “Lucia di Lammermoor” and Marie in “La fille du regiment”. The last years of her life she was a sought-after singingteacher in Köln and Wiesbaden.
