More than six years after my previous Meon Valley Railway photographs, I spent some time at the beautiful and tranquil site of the former Wickham station. This is a view north towards Droxford.

I did one of those old railway walks, once, when my pins were good and strong and arthritis-free. Why, it might have been this very one. But it was too, too long ago to remember, although Wickham rings a bell too. Small village, not too far from London, with several antique shops and some Elizabethan bits and bobs?
Old railways tracks make wonderful walking ground. Flat, smooth and no way you can get lost.
