The last known maker of wooden pins in the US (May & Bigley in Bedford, PA) closed up in 1998. Would be nice to know if there are any such companies up in Canada.

It's hard to tell if the cross arm is new or used due to the lighting on this photo. If the cross arm is new, I'm going to assume they just reused some old pins for some odd reason. All new poles the city installs now on their 4kV system is just fiberglass cross arms and Hendrix insulators.
