BLM Collage
Rye, NY
Note: Collage created from images on a social justice wall created to express solidarity with Black persons in the United States, who have been oppressed since 1619 through slavery and discrimination and to display our demands that the United States be transformed into a more perfect union where the human rights of ALL people are respected and protected, instead of the privileged few. There was one poster that fittingly read, because of the COVID-19 pandemic -- "If [you] think it is hard to breathe with a mask, imagine what it must be like to be Black."
The protests and movement must continue until much needed change is enacted to ensure this time will not be the same as the other times when people forget, apathy sets in and the status quo endures.

William Sutherland club has replied to Amelia clubtoujours collé aux évènements du moments..
Congrats on Explore.
Images and words that touch deeply.
Hopefully they will also reach the hearts of the oppressors,
and not only the oppressors of black people.
Thanks for sharing this expressive collage!
Stay safe and stay well, William!
Great idea

I hope that now in the USA a good change will be made and that the powerful movement will not be wasted!
All lives matter.
Freundliche Grüße und einen guten Abend
Erich
kind regards
... but what a pity to have and see such foolishness again in the midst of horrors already experienced. This world wearies me, William. To say the least.
Have a nice day, and do take good care of yourself there.
