She's All I Got

Singer, songwriter and producer Jerry Williams aka Swamp Dogg issued his writer's version of "Don't Take Her She's All I Got" (Gary U.S. Bonds - Jerry Williams) recorded when he was well into his seventies for the 2020 album "Sorry You Couldn't Make It".

In 1971 Nashville radio personality Freddie North released the first recording of "She's All I Got" reaching number ten R&B and it crossed over to peak in the Billboard top forty. The track is from his album "Friend". The song was later a top ten Country hit for Johnny Paycheck (Donald Lytle).
