De Geleenhof wordt al in 1311 genoemd,toen in bezit van Thijs Reynaerts van Herle
--het Leen werdt verkocht door Peter van Glene ...het lag mooi dichtbij het Dorpje Herle langs de bronbeek
In 1741 was het lang in bezit van Graaf van Coelmont--en Macherel van Wijnansrade--daarna kreeg de jonkheer von Hillensberg het in bezit---waarna het door de Baron de Loé van TerWorm werdt overgenomen.
