The Beatles in their home town of Liverpool.
The Beatles bronze statues at the pier head on Liverpools' docks. Each figure carries discreet details.... Pauls camera is probably due to his association with Linda Eastman .. an 'L8' on the bottom of Ringo's shoe denotes 'his home post code' and acorns in John's right hand, to promote peace and said were cast from the ones that were picked up outside the Dakota building in New York. The back of George's belt shows 'Sanskrit' lettering one of the 22 official languages of India.
Each figure is approx 8 feet tall... 2.4 metres.

I used to stay with a friend from school who moved to Liverpool. This was in the early 80s and I can't remember too much except parties every weekend, normally two or three on Friday night (this seems to be a Scouse tradition amongst the young and not so young!), watch a match (he was -still is - a passionate Liverpool FC fan) on Saturday afternoon and then party again on Saturday night! My coach journey back to London on Sunday evening was a blur!!
