Semplice, essenziale, grafica, questa immagine che pure ci porta a considerazioni più profonde e complesse. Cosa sarebbe infatti la foto stessa senza quella palizzata che riemerge a fatica se non una enorme massa bianca, indefinita ed infinita, resa silenziosa ed ovattata dalla neve ? Ma ecco che il nostro sguardo si aggrappa letteralmente a quei piloni, unico punto di riferimento preciso. Un semplice contrasto tra bianco e nero, quindi, ma anche tra certo ed incerto, tra sogno e realtà (anche se la palizzata devia improvvisamente a sn. attenuando le nostre certezze …)
Insomma, la forza di questa foto sta nella sua semplicità compositiva, dietro la quale ci sta un profondo e felice senso di osservazione. Se a volte il difficile sta nel trovare l'originalità di una scena, altrettanto difficile è scoprirne la sua semplicità, che non vuole dire affatto banalità.
