HFF from the Gosport Ferry

Are you travelling from Portsmouth to Gosport or vice versa? Or maybe you're just taking a cruise round the harbour for pure pleasure. I hope it's the latter. ;-)))

We were travelling from Portsmouth to Gosport, on our way back. We often use the ferry from Gosport to Portsmouth and then start our walk to Southsea Common from Gunwharf Quay dear LGM.

HFF Nick. I first took the ferry in the early '60s as a CCF Naval Cadet, travelling on by RN transport to HMS Ariel for a naval aviation course. We also 'pulled' whalers in the harbour on another summer camp at HMS St. Vincent. I can't visit Portsmouth without a trip on the ferry or a harbour tour or there is the harbour bus to Explosion and the RN Submarine Museum.
So thanks for the familiar view.
