Hi Roger, this is part of a public footpath that takes one through parts of the Golf Course. So you have to keep your wits about you to avoid flying balls.

As a child brought up in St.Andrews, I'm slightly ashamed to admit that we sometimes hid balls, from golfers, that had strayed into the rough. I do hope you haven't resorted to that. ;-)
A great double fence this week. We get out every day for walks ranging from 3 miles to 6 miles. Today we were on a canal towpath. and only came head to head with 3 lots of fishermen.

LOL I used to hide them by wedging them into forks in the trees ~ a difficult shot then to play. I'm glad that you are both able to take a variety of walks. As I've mentioned before HS2 have grabbed large swathes of land and completely blocked my old favourite figure of eight three hour walk that used to take me to the Grand Union Canal and back ~~~ Hanwe dear LGM x
