It was a very painful match to watch yesterday dear LGM and I'll be surprised if he manages to recover sufficiently for tonight's showdown. He has done amazingly well so far though.
Be brave and watch tonight from behind the sofa :~)
We go down to Gosport next weekend and I hope that the gales don't do too much damage there or here. xxx

We drove through it all the way from Cornwall to Bromley on Sunday! Not much fun! But at least the worst had passed through just ahead of us! We later watched the tennis at my brother's house in Bromley (much relief all round!), before heading to Gatwick and back to Madrid yesterday. We were in Cornwall for my mother's 80th. Many photos there but none outside due to the foul weather all weekend so another year's wait for more Cornwall shots!

Hi Andy, sorry to have missed your comments until now ~ but better late than never. Yes Cornwall to Bromley is a long trip at the best of times let alone following a storm! Glad you made Bromley in time to enjoy an unpredictable final ~ He played so well :~) I'm pleased that you have got back safely to Madrid. I bet that there were some good crashing wave shots to be had whilst you were down in Cornwall ~ We'll all have to await another year now ~~~~
