Have you ever had the experience of suddenly seeing the same thing everywhere you look? I just started reading The Narrowboat Summer by Anne Youngson and just today looked up Narrowboat hires and hotels. And here you go, even though your photo is about the building (very interesting!), there are narrowboats! I want to travel at 4 miles per hour, slow my life down and enjoy such things as this building here. Have you ever been on a narrowboat?

And yes, I have been on a narrow boat from Llangollen , and over Pontcysyllte viaduct, ( www.ipernity.com/doc/2247998/45592756 ) on a few occasions.

Are those houseboats or river cruises? Very serene.

The boats are exactly the same size, regardless of purpose, but in this case they are pleasure boats. Essentially houseboats which are only lived in at the weekend by people who enjoy sailing the canals in them. River cruises are still prohibited due to the virus regulations.

I sometimes was dreaming of a travel on such a narrow boat, somewhere along the numerous canals in your country. But I believe it will continue to be just a dream ;-)
