Snowing here. Roads are bad and it's cold.

Need to get away to someplace warmer.

First snow of the year here too. People from the UK are always surprised when I say how cold it gets here as they assume Spain is sunny and warm always - but Madrid is far from the sea, has a continental climate and is on a high plateau. In fact it's the highest capital city in Europe. There is a well-worn saying about the weather here; 'Nueve meses de invierno y tres meses de infierno' (9 months of winter and 3 months of hell)!.
