Wildflowers in the city

Wildflowers in the city
Hortaleza, Madrid.
A piece of waste ground that came alive every spring. Nothing grows here now, I think they treated it with something effective and nasty a couple of years ago.

Such beautiful flowers..............and such a shame they'll no longer be there to brighten up the environment!

A lovely shot Andy............I think the colour of the buildings fits in well with the natural green tones.

Hi Andy

Nice contrast between the pretty flowers and ugly blocks of flats.

Best Wishes, and a good weekend!

Nature, patient, waiting for the slow and inescapable disintegration of human civilization... :)
