Varanasi (Inde) - Je venais de passer deux heures sur le Gange. Quand je loue une barque, je prends toujours une embarcation sans moteur pour limiter le pollution et je la loue pour moi seul. Sans autres touristes. Ainsi, je peux prendre une petite barque avec un rameur. Etre un ou deux à bord, limite la fatigue du piroguier. Et en plus, je lui permet de gagner sa vie car la concurrence les barques motorisée est rude.

J'ai pris cette photo du rameur à l'issue de ma balade sur le fleuve sacré.
